ABOUT US
Stacy Emerson, a picture framer since
the age of twelve, had framed some pretty interested things: a glass eye (once used as a ball marker
during a celebrity golf tournament); a chunk of the Berlin
Wall; a butter paddle collection; a barbed wire collection;
a drink umbrella collection; by-golly even a a pair of
sports socks autographed by "Norm" of
Cheers; and nearly the entire collection of Marine
Corp memorabilia displayed in the
Marine Memorial Club &
Hotel in San Francisco.

When Stacy began working in the music industry in 1981, she
found herself with
a never-ending array of interesting music & entertainment
memorabilia to frame: press badges; backstage passes;
concert tickets; articles; photos; tour jackets; fan
T-shirts; drum sticks; guitar picks; promo photos; albums
and cassettes --p h r e w--and so much more.
Having the privilege to work with and frame for some really
cool people, Stacy decided to frame exclusively for the
music and entertainment industries.

"The CD Framers" came to life in 2001 and has steadily grown
into a great little company. Now working out of a
closed-to-the-public shop in Tacoma Washington, The CD
Framers specializes in conservation/preservation framing of
music and entertainment memorabilia for artists, record
labels, studios, managers, radio stations, music
industry organizations, distributors, duplicators,
production companies, TV and film companies, software and
game developers, and so many others. Whether acknowledging
a milestone, announcing a release date or just for the joy
of it - anyone can have their CD's or DVD's --the end result
of their hard
work displayed on their walls--preserved
in a conservation quality shadowbox CD Frame Plaque and
personalized to the maximum with an engraved acknowledgement
plate.
